  • Cardinal Health Canada is currently seeking an Accounting Analyst to join the finance team in a permanent, full time opening in our Medical Device Manufacturing Facility in Gananoque, Ontario.The position will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to learn and grow in the various parts of business, joining at a very exciting time to pave for future success.


    Responsible for the integrity of the Plant Financial Statements providing insight to results including:

    • Month end, Quarter end, Yearend activities
    • Journal entries and account reconciliation
    • Review and analysis of Financial Statement

    Maintenance of General Ledger including foreign exchange and coordination with US Parent

    • Responsible for Reporting including:
    • Monthly departmental reports
    • Corporate Reports – including:
    • Monthly results
    • Cash flow
    • Capital spend / forecast
    • Tax reporting

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Oversight to Payroll processing
    • Oversight and maintenance of hourly time keeping system (Kronos)
    • Statistics Canada reporting

Skills & Experience / Compétences & expérience


Working toward an Accounting Designation
University graduate
1-3 years experience in Accounting preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with complex data analysis
Ability to provide business insights
Advanced skills in MS Excel / PowerPoint
Proficient in JD Edwards / SAP and BPCS / Kronos an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with others
