At KPM, analytical chemistry is an internal service, providing high quality chemical analysis on samples generated by the teams performing the experimental research and development. We recently purchased a second ICP-OES (Agilent 5110 VDV). We also perform a range of wetchemistry methods, fire assays, used of ion selective electrodes (ISE), and develop/adapt methods as needed. We need to increase our capacity in inorganic analytical chemistry.
We are looking for someone with solid training in chemistry fundamentals, with specific emphasis and interest in analytical chemistry. Experience in a commercial analytical laboratory would be a significant asset. You are motivated by teamwork within a small company, providing high quality results in a fast pace environment, and sharing your knowledge of chemistry to help others in their projects. You are able to quickly adapt to a variety of tasks, have hands-on experience, and solid common-sense. Analytical chemistry at KPM is not routine work since we continuously work on different projects, with constantly new analytical requirements. We need someone who is curious, logical, investigative, practical, and not afraid of challenges. You are someone that we can rely on.
