This role has a defined portfolio to support within various Business Units. The incumbent will be accountable to deploy all Human Resources programs to their client group. The successful candidate will also be relied on as a trusted advisor to consult on Human Resources and any other intake items from their partners in the Business Units. These duties will be performed under the moderate supervision of the Human Resources Business Partners for the area.


  • Provide Manager Support on HR policies, processes, administration/implementation
  • Coach and guide managers through performance management processes including ongoing performance management, annual activities, salary increases, performance improvement and individual development plans
  • Responsible for coaching managers on employee relations, including supporting discipline, terminations and investigations
  • Lead and participate in projects as assigned
  • Support managers through performance & employee Issues, assist with coaching, processes (PIP), disability management liaison with DM specialist
  • Intake discussions in regards to recruitment activities, internal movements, job profiles, liaison with recruiters.
  • Managing termination process/follow up, letters, contract extensions, new hire process
  • Work with HRBPs and SMEs to roll out various HR programs and initiatives to the business

Skills & Experience / Compétences & expérience

Knowledge / Experience / Certification:

•3+ years’ work experience in generalist capacity
•Strong knowledge and application of human resources legislation and compliance
•Knowledge of all HR disciplines including: learning & development, compensation and
engagement strategies and systems
•Bilingualism an asset
•CHRP designation and working towards CHRL
•Post-secondary education in a relevant domain with focus/concentration in Human
