Description

We are seeking applicants who demonstrate:

  • A passion for teaching and commitment to student learning and engagement;
  • Commitment to innovation, collaboration and wellness in support of student achievement
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Ontario Curriculum in a variety of subject areas for Immersion positions and delivering FSL curriculum for core French positions;
  • Strong fluency in both written and oral French;
  • Knowledge and understanding of special education student needs, including differentiated instruction, developing/implementing programming accommodations, as required; as well as Individual Education Plans to guide programming (immersion positions only);
  • Knowledge and understanding of a variety of assessment strategies;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
