Job Description

  • Growing new merchant relationships through sales lead generation, prospecting, proposal preparation, sales closing and contract negotiation.
  • Preparation of RFP responses and proposals to attract new business.
  • Developing internal and external business networks to increase referrals.
  • Developing and executing a business plan aligned with Merchant Services business goals.
  • Preparation and delivery of internal and external solution presentations.
  • Supporting Merchant LEI improvement strategies and activities.

Skills & Experience / Compétences & expérience

• Proven track record of business development skills.
• Strong cold calling competencies, experience, and closing ratios.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to impact and influence individuals at all levels of
the organization.
• Thorough knowledge of marketing, sales and business development strategies.
• In-depth knowledge and industry related experience in an acquiring business to deliver on
comprehensive solutions for the small to mid-sized market.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet timelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to deliver effective
presentations to Merchants, Senior Executives and business partners.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with key referral partners.
• Analyze prospect list, recommend appropriate solutions and negotiate profitable pricing.
• Monitor progress to plan to ensure that objectives are met.
• Willing to travel as required and to work variable hours driven by needs of the business.
