Diamond Hotels Management Inc. is looking for a short-term

Accounts Payable Clerk

(to cover an 8-week leave of absence starting ASAP)

Your overall responsibility is to assist the Accounting department in the day-to-day processing of accounts payable items to ensure records are accurate and up to date for all eight operating companies within Diamond Hotels Management Inc.


  • Sort accounts payable mail by company and forward to appropriate department heads for approval
  • Code, scan, and input all approved invoices into accounting system in an accurate and timely manner per company guidelines and vendor terms
  • Process cheque runs and issue manual cheques as required
  • Distribute signed cheques with correct remittance documents
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to invoices and accounts payable matters
  • Filing, scanning and other administrative duties required
  • Balance monthly visa bills and attach supporting documentation

The above areas of responsibility are not all inclusive and may be amended from time to time.

Skills & Experience / Compétences & expérience

5 years' accounts payable experience and thorough understanding of the AP Cycle
Computer literate with proficient Microsoft Excel skills
Sage 300 experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Must be detail oriented
