Our services and community commitments

  • Welcome kit for French-speaking newcomers in Kingston called “Bienvenue à Kingston”
  • Organize the annual Franco-Foire, a French-Language services fair, every third Saturday of October
  • Publish annually the "French Language Health Services Directory of South Eastern Ontario"(click here to download 2017 edition)
  • ACFO Award given to elementary and secondary school students to foster pride of speaking French - See the 2017 awards
  • Offer assistance to the public in their quest to find the services and resources in French in the region
  • Promote French language cultural events in the Thousand Islands community

Our mission

Promote and ensure the integration, involvement, representation and support of the French-speaking community of the Thousand Island region to ensure its continuity.

Services provided by ACFOMI

 Employment Services, Immigrant Services and French-Language Services are integral part of the ACFO Mille-Îles.
